About Leah
Leah is a proven leader in consulting, project management, and operational management, amassing over 25 years of experience working in hospital revenue cycle operations and IT, including acute care and ambulatory provider services. Leah specializes in revenue cycle implementation project management, revenue cycle operations, revenue cycle optimization, data analytics, workflow and process analysis, and change management. Leah also has extensive experience with several EHR vendors, including Epic, Sorian, Allscripts, and Cerner.
Throughout her career, Leah has:
- Developed an extensive knowledge and understanding of patient access, charge description master, charge capture, billing, collections, A/R, revenue integrity, payer authorization, contract management, revenue recovery, and payment validation.
- Led multiple projects to create more efficient workflow strategies, optimize system performance, improve AR management through the use of analytics, and implement change management projects.
- Successfully led comprehensive revenue cycle assessments that resulted in improved financial and operational outcomes for hospital and physician revenue cycle departments within large integrated health systems.
- Implemented strategic solutions to ensure comprehensive and seamless revenue flow through multi-system development, coordination of operational planning, software interface solutions, and collaborative partnerships across an organization and with outsourced vendors.
