Associate

We are looking for an entry-level resource that will assist with analysis and problem-solving in the healthcare industry. Associates at HCPA gain firsthand experience and knowledge in a wide range of health care environments, including hospitals, health systems, long term care facilities, and care providers in the area. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to benefit from the combination of both short, fast-cycle projects as well as longer term deeper dive projects. Responsibilities/Duties 

  • Create spreadsheets, presentations and other deliverables for client engagements using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Design and present data and conclusions in logical and understandable formats for other team members through charts, graphs, tables and maintain ongoing reports; data manipulation and dataset preparation for client engagement analytics
  • Assist in proposal development and support marketing efforts
  • Participate in creation of client deliverables
  • Participate in the analysis of business and technical problems and work with team to create innovative solutions
  • Conduct in-depth research to support data analytics, as well as create and automate data dashboards for stakeholders
  • Work with clients to achieve project milestones by participating in client and internal presentations
  • Understand and demonstrate best practices for quality data analytic activities and goals within healthcare
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Skills & Requirements

  • Analytic Skills: Analytical, data-driven mindset with an aptitude for complex quantitative and qualitative problem solving and analysis. Revenue Cycle Systems Manager

At HCPA, Revenue Cycle Systems Managers direct and coordinate work activities that focus on improving our clients’ Revenue Cycle Management and related systems by using their strong conceptual, analytical, communication, managerial presence, project management, and system configuration skills to achieve the highest levels of efficiency, adapt core strategies to deal with dynamic market forces, optimize the deployment of systems, technology, and financial resources, and help manage the risks of ever-present ‘unknowns’. Revenue Cycle Management encompasses all administrative and clinical functions that contribute to the capture, management, and collection of patient service revenue. It involves core business processes that cross administrative, financial, and clinical department boundaries and begins and ends with the patient. It is optimized and improved through strategic initiatives that are embraced by leadership and consider organizational strategy, people, process, and enabling technologies.

Responsibilities/Duties 

  • Use knowledge of system functionality, healthcare operations, or consulting background to assist clients in achieving maximum savings and efficient processes
  • Understand and demonstrate best practices for quality data analytic activities and goals within healthcare
  • Manages/oversees multiple Revenue Cycle engagements concurrently and keeps teams and clients on track
  • Builds client relationships and manages existing clients while growing the revenue cycle systems engagement portfolio
  • Assists in the development of opportunities and management of team resources to grow the business
  • Produces quality methodology and engagement deliverables
  • Works directly with clients to achieve project milestones by participating in client and internal presentations
  • Leverages his/her strong data analysis abilities towards positive client outcomes
  • Provides strategic analysis/assessments for our clients resulting in long term Information Systems and RCM transformational work
  • Works collaboratively within the broader Healthcare practice to identify opportunities for integrated engagements
  • Influences the practice’s direction and promotes the firm’s core values with a lens towards becoming the #1 best in class revenue cycle consulting firm
  • Participates in efforts to mentor, develop, coach and recruit new and existing staff

Skills & Requirements

  • Computer Skills: Must be fluent in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, project management software (e.g., MS Project), and flowcharting software (e.g., Visio). Knowledge of healthcare information systems, in particular, those delivered by industry vendors, is strongly preferred.

  • Track record of delivering/overseeing healthcare programs over $6 million annually.
